According to the above working principle and our experience, taking sand as an example, when the screen mesh is between 16 mesh and 50 mesh, the effect of cleaning tennis balls is slightly better than that of the ultrasonic system, because when the mesh size is larger and the wire diameter of the screen mesh is thicker, the amplitude of the ultrasonic system is too small, and the effect is not good.
When the screen mesh is between 50 mesh and 100 mesh, the effect of the ultrasonic system is similar to cleaning tennis balls, but the cost of cleaning tennis balls is lower.
When the screen mesh is between 100-625 mesh, the smaller the mesh, the greater the advantage of the ultrasonic system. At this time, the high frequency and low amplitude are very suitable for cleaning the fine powder blocking the mesh, and the strong impact of the cleaning ball may damage the screen. When the material to be screened is between 2-16 mesh, or larger particles need to be screened, the best way is to increase the excitation force and let the vibrating screen itself vibrate to clean the mesh.
Of course, all the content we mentioned above is based on dry sand as an example. If the material you sieve is oily, such as soybean flour, or prone to electrostatic aggregation, the effect of the ultrasonic system is better than that of cleaning tennis balls.
