The relationship between the number of screen layers and the discharge port
Many friends who have just started using vibrating screens or do not know much about vibrating screens will not be clear about the relationship between the number of screen layers and the discharge port.
The relationship between them is very simple: discharge port = number of screen layers + 1.
The specific way of understanding is also very simple. If I want to screen my products now and choose a screen, then after the materials pass through the vibrating screen, there will be two types of materials: 1. Materials that have not passed the screen (Larger materials), 2 materials passing through the screen (smaller materials), then the two materials need to be discharged and collected through their respective outlets, so two materials are needed
In the same way, when we choose a two-layer vibrating screen, we hope to obtain: large, medium, and trim materials, respectively:
1. Large particle materials that do not pass through the first layer of the screen
2. The medium particles that do not pass through the first layer but the second layer, and the tiny particles that can pass through both layers of screens must also have three outlets.
By analogy, it can be concluded that the number of discharge ports is always one more than the number of screen layers. After understanding these clearly, you will not make mistakes when selecting the number of equipment layers.
