output
Output is one of the most important data in vibrating screening, which directly determines which equipment and model to choose. If the output data is wrong, or the vibrating screen manufacturer is inexperienced, the purchased equipment will not meet the expected output requirements, resulting in economic losses for customers, or if the output is too large, customers will spend more money but not achieve the expected value. Therefore, choosing the right model according to the output is a skill that manufacturers must have.
Here are some examples of our company’s experience:
For screening quartz sand, the mesh size is 24, and the customer requires an output of 1 ton/hour. The best solution is a rotary vibrating screen with a diameter of one meter, which is the most favorable equipment to meet customer requirements.
If the customer requires 5 tons/hour, then you need to choose between a linear vibrating screen or a Circular tumbler screen. The price of a linear vibrating screen is more favorable, and the screening accuracy of a Circular tumbler screen is higher. The linear vibrating screen occupies a larger area, and the Circular tumbler screen is more convenient to replace the screen. These two equipments each have their own advantages and disadvantages.
If the customer needs an output of 15 tons/hour, he can choose 2-3 linear vibrating screens or 2-3 Circular tumbler screen, or a square gyratory screen.
In comparison, the square gyratory screen has higher precision, occupies less space, and is more convenient to replace the screen. At the same time, the price will be higher.
For example, a customer is a seasoning manufacturer. They need to mix salt, MSG, chili pepper, peppercorns and other seasonings in a large mixing barrel according to a certain ratio. When these raw materials are opened and thrown into the mixer, there is a possibility that the packaging debris will fall into the mixing barrel.
At this time, a vibrating screen is needed. The customer directly pours the raw materials into the vibrating screen, and the vibrating screen filters out the packaging debris or agglomerated materials. The production requirement per hour is 5 tons, the mesh is 8 mesh, and the equipment is required to be as small as possible. Because the site location of the agitator feed port is limited, the output is 5 tons, the rotary vibrating screen cannot handle the full capacity, the linear screen is too long and cannot be placed on the site, and the height of the Circular tumbler screen exceeds the requirement. Our company recommends a 1200 straight row sieve to the customer, which fully meets the customer’s requirements.
